Why Use Reserve Lane for Auctions
Keep More of Your Sale
Flat-fee pricing. No 10% commission.
Most brokers and consignment dealers take 8–10% of your final sale. We charge a simple flat rate—so you know exactly what you’re paying, no matter the sale price.
Maintain Full Control
You keep the car—and the decision-making.
We never take possession of your vehicle. You approve the photos, the reserve, and the final sale terms. We handle the work; you keep the leverage.
Platform Strategy That Works
We know what sells—and where.
From Bring a Trailer to PcarMarket, we help you select the best-fit platform, prep your car correctly, and submit a listing that gets approved and noticed.
White-Glove for Enthusiasts
We’re not a dealer—we’re your partner.
We work with serious sellers of enthusiast and collector cars. From air-cooled 911s to E-Type Jags, we know how to present your vehicle the way it deserves.
Platform-Specific Knowledge
Bring a Trailer? Hemmings? DuPont? Pcar?
We know the quirks, expectations, and submission processes for each major platform—so you don’t have to learn the hard way.

Active bidder engagement = better results.
We respond to questions, protect your credibility, and guide when and how you should weigh in. The comment section is your sales floor—we handle it professionally.
Post-Sale Support Included

We assist with buyer communication, PPI coordination, transport referrals, and paperwork guidance so your sale wraps up smoothly and professionally.
Listings That Perform
Better presentation = stronger bidding.
We craft listings that build confidence and urgency—clean photos, professional writing, and full transparency. It’s the difference between a stale auction and a strong close.
FAQ
Q: Do you take a percentage of the final sale price?
No. Reserve Lane charges a flat fee based on your selected service tier. Whether your vehicle sells for $75K or $275K, your fee doesn’t change—and you keep 100% of the sale proceeds.
Q: Will the auction listing be in my name or yours?
All auction listings are submitted under Reserve Lane’s account unless specific circumstances require otherwise. This allows us to manage the listing directly, respond to bidder comments promptly, and maintain consistency across platforms. You'll still retain full control over reserve pricing, sale terms, and final decisions.
Q: Do I need to take new photos or can I use what I have?
For our Full Service and White Glove tiers, Reserve Lane will arrange a professional automotive photographer on your behalf. We believe high-quality visuals are critical to maximizing your final sale price. If you're on a lower service tier, we’ll review any existing photos and advise on whether they meet platform standards or need to be retaken.
Q: Do I have to engage with bidders during the auction?
Not at all. Reserve Lane manages the comment section and bidder questions on your behalf. If something specific comes up that requires your input (e.g., service history, cold start video), we’ll let you know and coach you through anything additional—if needed.
Q: Can I choose my reserve price?
Yes. You set the reserve, and we’ll provide guidance based on comps, market conditions, and platform trends. However, auction platforms like Bring a Trailer and PcarMarket have the final say in whether a reserve is accepted. If they feel a sale is unlikely at your target price, they may decline to list the vehicle. We’ll never pressure you to lower your reserve—but we also can’t guarantee it will be approved by the platform.
Q: What happens if my car doesn’t sell?
If your reserve isn’t met, the car remains yours with no further obligation. We’ll debrief with you and, if desired, strategize a relist, adjust platforms, or pivot to a fixed price listing.
Q: Do you help with post-sale logistics?
Yes. We assist with buyer communication, PPI coordination, transport introductions, and guidance on finalizing the sale. We’re with you from start to sold.
Not sure which route is right for your car?
We’ll walk you through it—no pressure, no commission, no games.
